Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) on a contract basis in the vibrant San Diego, CA area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about fostering positive behavioral change and providing dedicated support within educational settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience in school-based environments is strongly preferred Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Ability to collect and summarize behavioral data accurately Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, teachers, and families Capacity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom situations
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide one-on-one or small group behavior support to students, following set protocols Accurately document sessions and collect relevant data to track student progress Offer proactive input on student response and participate in team meetings as needed Support classroom routines while modeling appropriate behavior for students Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times Communicate regularly with educators and families regarding student progress You will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their behavioral and educational goals while collaborating with caring professionals.
