Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and update individualized care plans, ensuring that all services align with the client's goals and needs.
- Provide direct care to clients, including behavioral interventions, skill training, and daily living skills.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of client progress, including data collection and reporting.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral health and strategies for promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Work effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including children, and maintain a patient and respectful demeanor at all times.
Skills:
- Experience working with young adults and children, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Ability to educate clients and their families about behavioral health and strategies for promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Experience with data collection and reporting, with a focus on measuring client progress and outcomes.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and promoting positive behaviors.
- A passion for delivering behavioral health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Type:

$21.00- $23.
