Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary-aged students in an autism program as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract, full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference within a dynamic educational team near Bear, DE. Candidates will work standard elementary hours (8:45 AM - 4:15 PM), with responsibilities spanning support, intervention, and data-driven guidance of students with unique needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide direct behavioral support to elementary students, implementing physical intervention strategies when necessary and appropriate. Collect and monitor both behavioral and instructional data in a classroom setting. Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment. Fulfill essential support duties, including assistance with toileting, diapering, hygiene, and other bathroom needs (non-negotiable). Remain adaptable to classroom assignments, assisting wherever needed to support program goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Delaware PARA Permit—both required. Prior experience within a school environment, especially with elementary-aged students, highly preferred. Demonstrated success supporting students requiring physical intervention strategies. Proven ability to collect, organize, and interpret behavioral and instructional data. Willingness and comfort in aiding with all aspects of student hygiene and bathroom duties. Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full required hours with no schedule accommodations. Reliable means of transportation.
