Overview Blaze ABA LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home/school Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for a pediatric client. This is an excellent opportunity for an RBT looking for consistent weekend hours while making a meaningful impact in a child's life.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6 hours per day (30 hours/week) In-home services Consistent weekly schedule As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with a client under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting behavioral data, and helping the client develop functional, communication, social, and adaptive living skills in their home environment. Responsibilities Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in the client's home. Provide support on days the client attends school Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA. Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral data during each session. Utilize behavior intervention strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and increase appropriate replacement skills. Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence when appropriate. Build positive rapport with the client and family while maintaining professional boundaries. Communicate effectively with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress and concerns. Complete session notes and required documentation accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and BACB ethics requirements. Participate in required supervision and ongoing professional development. Qualifications Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB (required). Previous experience providing direct ABA therapy is required. This position is best suited for an experienced RBT who can work independently while following treatment plans. Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities. Experience providing in-home/school ABA services is strongly preferred. Knowledge of ABA principles, behavior reduction procedures, skill acquisition programs, and data collection methods. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the client's home. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to pass all required background screenings and maintain any state-required clearances. Why Join Blaze ABA?
