Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence and confidence Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies tailored to their unique needs Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions in various environments, including home-based settings and schools, ensuring consistency and adherence to care plans Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members about client progress, challenges, and goals Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by securely managing medical documentation, medical records, and client information while respecting confidentiality standards Qualifications Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to employment Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and behavior intervention strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior therapy protocols effectively in diverse settings Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family support Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and medical records management is a plus Previous experience in home-based behavioral therapy or school environments is highly desirable Demonstrated understanding of professional ethical standards such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Compassionate attitude with a proactive approach to client care and behavior support Join us in empowering children to reach their full potential through dedicated applied behavior analysis therapy.
