We are seeking compassionate skilled, and experienced Certified RBT (Registered Behavioral Technician) to support an adult with autism. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique needs of individuals with autism and be committed to providing respectful and personalized care.Available Hours :
Multiple shifts throughout the day. Specific shifts and schedules will be discussed during the interview process.Compensation:
Pay will be based on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities:
Implement ABA Programs:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
- Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment goals.
- Accurately record and document client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions.
- Maintain detailed session notes and data sheets.
- Assist in generating reports for BCBA review and client updates.
- Implement behavior modification techniques as directed by the BCBA.
- Use reinforcement strategies and prompt fading to address challenging behaviors.
- Build rapport and establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Provide support and encouragement to clients during therapy sessions.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for clients.
- Collaborate with clients' families and caregivers to reinforce ABA strategies at home.
- Offer guidance and training to help parents/caregivers support their child's development.
- Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
- Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of client information.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a therapy team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with developmental disorders.
- Proficiency in data collection and record-keeping.
- Dedication to ethical behavior analysis practices.
- Must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional education or coursework.
