- Job Summary
- As a school-based Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder in the school setting. Your work will focus on implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts to improve the lives of those you work with.
- Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Assist in the development and implementation of skill acquisition programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and data collection
- Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues In this position, you will have a full-time schedule (30 hours/week) working at a single school.
