Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines to promote independence. Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan. Support teaching and behavioral therapy sessions by using evidence-based techniques to encourage skill acquisition and positive behavior management. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in care and progress updates. Maintain detailed medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Participate in training on medical terminology, ethical standards, and professional conduct to uphold the highest level of care. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Knowledge of special education principles, behavior management strategies, and ABA therapy implementation. Ability to assist with ADLs and perform behavioral data collection with precision. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement. Flexibility to adapt to various client needs while maintaining a positive, energetic approach.
