Job Description

Reports To:
Behavior Therapist Summary:
The Behavior Technician is responsible for providing direct care to individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in accordance with the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The behavior technician will implement behavior plans, collect data, and complete other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior plans in accordance with the supervision of a BCBA Collect data on client progress Complete other tasks as assigned by the BCBA Attend trainings and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest ABA practices Maintain accurate records of client progress Communicate with parents and guardians about client progress Work as part of a team to provide the best possible care for clients
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, parents, and guardians Must be able to handle challenging behaviors Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred, not required
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$17.00 - $26.00 per hour
