Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), working with K-12 learners in a dynamic school district setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals ready to provide meaningful support and expertise across a diverse caseload. The start date is as soon as possible, with a long-term assignment through late May 2027, offering stability and the chance to see your impact evolve over several school years.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active BCBA certification with valid Maryland licensure Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and behavior intervention planning Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Effective communication and documentation abilities Passion for supporting students with a range of behavioral and learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for K-12 students Conduct functional behavior assessments and gather/interpret relevant data Provide consultation and ongoing support to school staff and student teams Deliver training and guidance to teachers, aides, and families regarding behavior interventions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and progress reviews Maintain accurate and timely records to comply with district and regulatory requirements Support positive school climate and student engagement through evidence-based practices
