Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting an elementary-aged student as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers a chance to work onsite at an educational center near Oxford, MI, as part of a collaborative team focused on comprehensive behavioral and mental health support. You'll help guide a student, age 8 or 9, using evidence-based practices, with the full backing of educational and mental health professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification is required Experience in a school or educational setting is highly preferred Strong collaborative skills—able to work closely with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of strategies for managing behavior and supporting mental health Ability to implement and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans Passion for improving outcomes for young learners
What You'll Do:
Serve as the primary BCBA onsite, supporting one student with behavioral and mental health needs Work closely with teachers, aides, therapists, and parents to deliver a holistic approach Conduct assessments, create and modify intervention plans, and track progress Provide direct instruction, coaching, and modeling for staff Participate in meetings and professional collaborations to refine strategies and goals Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with best-practice and school guidelines Hours run 7:30 am to 2:45 pm, aligning with the student's school schedule Imagine making a direct impact in a supportive environment where your expertise is valued every day.
