Job Description

ENC ABA is looking for dedicated and compassionate behavior technicians to join our team. Behavior technicians are responsible for assisting Behavior Analysts to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. The candidate will assist learners with day to day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on patients' progress, and communicate with clients. Other duties may include clerical and administrative duties. Services may be provided in clinic, school, home, and various community settings to support acquisition, maintenance, and generalization of skills. To be successful in this role, you must display a compassionate nature, empathy, and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, parents, supervisors, and colleagues. All employees are expected to know and follow the BACB Ethics Code. •

Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor Provide services in clinic, school, home, and various community settings to support acquisition, maintenance, and generalization of skills Collect and record data on patient behavior Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family Carry out clinical assessments and other administrative duties Maintain strict confidentiality Attend training to acquire further knowledge Other duties as assigned
Behavior Technician Requirements:
18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Relevant experience preferred Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and squat, kneel, and/or sit on the floor or other low surfaces Must be able to independently work with children and adolescents with autism ranging in severity from mild to severe with various challenging behaviors Must pass background check Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Computer and tablet skills

Schedule Requirements:
Clinic:
Full-time availability requirement is: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30am-3:30pm on Fridays.
Compensation:
Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) pay starts at $20/hour. A training rate of $17/hour is effective until completion of RBT credential. All training requirements and credentialing expenses are provided by ENC ABA.
