Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' behavioral and developmental goals Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, dressing, and other self-care routines Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and progress toward care plans Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Participate in ongoing training on ethical standards, medical terminology, behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or equivalent credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management strategies, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence skills Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with families and team members Knowledge of medical records management, medical terminology, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA Prior experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred Demonstrated professionalism aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about behavioral health and dedicated to fostering positive change through direct client care.
