Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A full-time opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support within an elementary school setting serving students with Autism. This contract position is based in Merrimack, NH, and involves working with a K-5 classroom of 10 students. The ideal candidate will have an active RBT certification through the BACB and experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, particularly discrete trial training.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions to students with Autism in a K-5 classroom. Implement discrete trial training and other ABA strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect accurate data on student progress and respond to developmental needs. Support social, communication, and academic skills development tailored to individual student goals. Assist classroom staff with behavior management and intervention planning.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required. Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) in an educational setting preferred. Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and applied behavior analysis methodologies. Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
