Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or ABA training required At least 48 college credits or a valid paraprofessional certificate or RBT certification Previous experience supporting children as an
RBT, ABA
Therapist, or similar paraprofessional role Understanding of evidence-based interventions for children on the autism spectrum Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to participate in virtual interviews
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and support individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of BCBA or special education staff Assist students one-on-one or in small groups, promoting positive behaviors and facilitating learning in both academic and social-emotional domains Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other school personnel to ensure effective support Collect and maintain documentation on student progress and data on behavioral interventions Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment for young students
