Behavior Technician We are a charter school in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our goal is to provide all students with a free and appropriate public education based on individual student needs. We are seeking a passionate ABA certified staff member to support individual student needs. This role includes implementing behavior intervention plans, teaching positive replacement behaviors, supporting school staff in implementation of behavior intervention plans, teaching coping strategies, implementing escalation strategies, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Provide additional adult support to students with behavioral needs in the general education and special education setting.
• ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors to help students build and improve their communication, social, and problem-solving skills.
• Implement behavior plans, work toward IEP goals, provide direct support in one-on-one and group settings.
• Collect and record accurate data to monitor progress of behavior and goals.
• Communicate with staff, parents, and the school community.
