Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change within a compassionate and collaborative environment. This is a paid position that offers valuable hands-on experience in behavioral health and special education, empowering you to grow professionally while providing essential care to those who need it most. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care skills Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills through engaging activities and positive reinforcement techniques Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts, educators, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches Uphold patient care standards by adhering to behavioral health protocols, safety guidelines, and ethical practices Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in behavioral therapy or special education settings Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality requirements under HIPAA Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members CPR Certificate HIPAA Certificate Crisis Management Certificate School Badge NPI number Medicaid number Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated care and innovative behavioral interventions.
