Position Scope and Responsibilities:
The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral support and consultation services across the district, with an initial focus on elementary-level programming.
Responsibilities may include:
Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and supporting Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) Developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individualized behavior support plans Providing behavioral consultation and recommendations to students, teachers, and school teams Conducting classroom observations and collecting, reviewing, and analyzing behavioral data Providing staff coaching, training, and collaborative support related to behavior management and intervention strategies Supporting behavioral components of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborating with educators, related service providers, administrators, families, and other members of student support teams Providing broader district-level behavioral consultation and services as needs arise Who We're Looking For Are you a passionate and dedicated behavior analyst with a commitment to improving the lives of children? We're seeking a skilled professional who utilizes evidence-based practices and compassionate care to support students in our district. Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy, preferably in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results. Provide direct ABA therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation of BIPs. Train school staff on ABA principles and strategies.
