Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. As a Lead RBT, you will play a pivotal role in implementing evidence-based behavioral therapy protocols, supervising and mentoring RBTs, and collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, promote positive behavior change, and support clients in achieving their full potential through applied behavior analysis (ABA). Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. Supervise, mentor, and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to ethical standards. Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence and skill development. Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans and provide progress updates. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records, documentation, and client confidentiality at all times. Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, behavior management strategies, and the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure best practices. Skills Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in settings such as home-based therapy or school environments. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Excellent data collection skills for behavioral data collection and analysis to track client progress effectively. Ability to assist with ADLs while promoting independence through positive reinforcement strategies. Knowledge of medical documentation procedures, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records within a behavioral health context. Effective client communication skills to foster trust, engagement, and collaboration with clients' families and team members. Demonstrated professionalism in adhering to ethical standards such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
