Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality behavioral support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will assist with implementing individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols under supervision, following individualized care plans designed by licensed behavior analysts. Support clients in developing communication, social, academic, and life skills through structured teaching methods. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session logs, and adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments and optimize client outcomes. Engage in ongoing training related to behavioral health, ethical practices for behavior analysts, medical terminology, and behavior management techniques. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly preferred. Experience in special education or school-based settings is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and maintain detailed medical records. Home-based behavioral experience or direct behavioral therapy experience is advantageous. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing care plans aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and documentation standards related to behavioral health services.
