Success in this role requires empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships. Behavior Therapists teach children how to get their needs met through socially and developmentally appropriate ways. Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends. Weekends are flexible as to exact timings

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to organizational policies and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Implement treatment plans accurately and equitably when working with children.
• Foster positive relationships with clients to facilitate the development of social skills and promote positive behaviors.
• Utilize various techniques to encourage appropriate client behavior.
• Monitor and document client behavior, and communicate progress to clients and their families.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and medical insurance requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift objects and move freely.
• Capability to use physical interventions when necessary.
• Reliable transportation for home visits (all sessions in home).
• Valid driver's license and car insurance if driving to work.
• Successful completion of background checks.
• Maintain active drivers license and insurance

Experience Required:

• Previous experience working with children.
• Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with necessary skills.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Training Provided:

• Assistance in obtaining certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Training is conducted during paid working hours.
