Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an after school Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by implementing evidence-based interventions rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life through personalized care plans and targeted behavior management strategies. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques tailored to their needs Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to reinforce therapeutic goals across settings such as home, school, or community environments Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Hands-on experience in behavioral health or special education settings, including home-based or school environments Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and implementation of behavior management techniques Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and utilize data to guide intervention strategies Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with team members Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through direct behavioral therapy and client-centered approaches Join us in empowering individuals to reach their full potential!
