Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in imaging, specifically in Cath Lab technology, for a contract opportunity. This position plays a critical role in supporting interventional cardiology procedures and ensuring high standards of patient care within a dynamic lab environment.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credentials Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting, with a comprehensive understanding of imaging equipment and procedures Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedural protocols Excellent communication and problem-solving skills BLS and ACLS certification preferred
Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring equipment is functioning and sterile technique is maintained Monitor and record patient vital signs and procedural data Provide effective communication with patient care teams before, during, and after procedures Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment, and inventory Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulatory standards Participate in emergency response protocols as needed This contract role offers the opportunity to apply advanced technical skills and contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
