Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging professional with expertise in CT and CT/PET technology. This contract position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in CT and PET/CT imaging technology (ARRT or equivalent) Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT/PET protocols Demonstrated experience operating imaging equipment safely and accurately Proficiency in performing CT and PET scans as ordered by physicians Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff Ability to maintain patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures Meticulous attention to detail in image analysis and documentation Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationPrimary Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Operate CT and PET/CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Follow established protocols for all imaging studies Accurately document patient histories and scan details in the electronic medical record Coordinate with radiologists and other medical professionals regarding patient care and imaging results Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of imaging equipment and work area Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and facility regulations at all timesBenefits & Perks:
