7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shiftsQualifications:
Active RN license, in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Step Down Registered Nurse Demonstrated proficiency in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units Must have experience with Cerner EMR system Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills Ability and willingness to float between SDU and med-surg units as assignedKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in step-down, telemetry, or med-surg settings Closely monitor cardiac and other vital signs using telemetry technology Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans Quickly respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions Document patient information and clinical care accurately in the Cerner system Provide support, education, and reassurance to patients and their families If you have the expertise to handle advanced patient care in a step-down and telemetry environment—and the flexibility to float between units—this contract position is an excellent chance to further hone your clinical skills.
