Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care by utilizing your skills in Imaging - CT and CT/PET technology within a dynamic clinical environment. Key Qualifications:
Current certification and registry as a CT Technologist; certification in PET imaging is strongly preferred Valid state licensure to practice as required by regulatory authority Proven experience operating and maintaining CT and PET imaging equipment Proficient in patient positioning, image acquisition, and radiation safety protocols Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria for advanced cross-sectional imaging Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established imaging protocols Demonstrates compassionate communication and collaboration with patients, physicians, and colleagues Ability to adapt and function in a fast-paced, evolving clinical settingResponsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT and CT/PET examinations in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety Review images for diagnostic adequacy and communicate findings to radiologists and healthcare providers as necessary Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic health record system Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed Provide patient education regarding procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout the exam Adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety regulations at all times This contract opportunity offers access to cutting-edge imaging resources and a supportive professional environment focused on patient-centered care.
