1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CV Invasive Specialist for a Cardiac Cath Lab requiring
RCIS/RCES/ARRT
certification and
BLS/ACLS.
Details Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting Schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts On-call required on weekdays and weekends Epic EMR used for charting Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred One or more of the following certifications required: ARRT (R, CV, or VI), RCIS, or RCES RCIS or RCES designation requires current Fluoroscopy Operator Registration Current BLS certification (AHA) required Current ACLS certification (AHA) required 2 years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred 1 year of experience in the specialty required Active license required; license required if applicable Certifications must not expire prior to start date DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures under RN supervision Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, acting as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post-procedure care Maintain unit cleanliness and appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation per departmental standards Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for process improvement Radiation badge provided by staffing agency Returning employees must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
