1 Description American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and
BLS/ACLS
certification along with ARRT R or
CCI RCIS/RCES
credentials. Details Electrophysiology Lab setting with 2 procedure rooms Adult to geriatric patient population 1:5 patient ratio with 8-12 patients per day Uses Epic and Pyxis systems 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified Rare floating possible within facility and scope of practice On-call required (no weekend call), but must stay past shift hours if on call that day Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required First-time travelers accepted BLS and ACLS certification required ARRT R or CCI RCIS or
CCI RCES
certification required Charting system experience required (any system) Skills include EP studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures and interpretation of dysrhythmias Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and function as room circulator or scrub role maintaining sterile field Competency with middle adult and older adult age-specific care License required if applicable Additional Information Responsibilities include EP studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD/pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols Scrubs provided by facility Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, finalized at time of submission RTO blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4th-12th) No RTO requests permitted during orientation week Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
