Category Imaging - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting cardiac patients by utilizing your specialized expertise in Cath Lab nursing and imaging. This contract opportunity empowers you to contribute to high-quality patient care alongside a collaborative healthcare team serving individuals with diverse cardiovascular needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience Proficiency in Cath Lab imaging procedures and equipment ACLS and BLS certifications required Strong critical thinking abilities and rapid response skills in emergent situations Outstanding communication and teamwork capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring accurate records Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab imaging equipment per protocol Collaborate closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and technologists for optimal patient outcomes Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control standards Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and care expectations Respond swiftly to emergencies or complications, providing high-quality patient advocacy
