AMP is a Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides clinical and administrative support for ColumbiaDoctors , one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. Our providers specialize in Cardiology, Vascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Obesity, Gastroenterology, and Endocrinology. Receive patients, confirm demographic data, record necessary medical history, verify test prescription/order is on file, explain testing procedures, answer questions and provide physical support as needed. Prepare patient for examination by correct positioning and making any necessary adjustments or special preparation as needed. Check prior patient studies to compare with current study, including prior images using the same modality as well as complementary modalities (CT. MRI, etc.). Maintain logs of ultrasound exams. Perform both exercise and pharmacological stress echo testing. Record, file, and edit results of sonograms in Syngo and complete all appropriate paperwork for physician interpretation. Notify the reading physician of any discrepancies or unexpected findings to determine if any further action is required for patient care. Advanced analysis and quantification of cardiac imaging. Attend monthly and quarterly meetings and assist with IAC accreditation as directed.Required Experience/Skills:
1 year of experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound, including clinical rotations EMR experience Ability to provide empathetic support to alleviate patient concerns Willingness to travel and provide coverage to other locations (minimum 25%)Preferred Experience/Skills:
3-5 years of echo technologist experience 3D Capable and general ultrasound experienceEducation/License/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) 2 years of college or graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (Required) Registered with one of the following: ARDMS or CCI (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Maintain necessary CMEs needed for IAC accreditation (Required)Work Location:

$37 to $45 per hourJob Type:
