Job Description

Cath Lab Tech Regular Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
Guaranteed Hours:
40 hours/week
On-Call Rotation:
Every 5th weekend (Friday-Sunday) and one weekday per week. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our Cardiovascular Lab team. The ideal candidate will assist with diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patients, equipment, and supplies are properly prepared. Responsibilities Assess, prepare, and position patients for cardiovascular procedures. Assist physicians and clinical staff during diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Perform and/or facilitate cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures as assigned. Assist with conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as required. Prepare, set up, and maintain equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols. Monitor procedural equipment and ensure it is functioning properly. Assist with patient preparation, positioning, transfer, and post-procedure care. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Participate in the required on-call rotation. Qualifications Previous Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Lab Technician experience preferred. Knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Familiarity with Cath Lab equipment and sterile technique. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment. Ability to respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations. Ability to work the required schedule and participate in the on-call rotation.
Pay:
