Your technical skills and commitment to patient care will play a vital role in supporting life-saving diagnostics and interventions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent) Prior experience operating imaging and monitoring equipment in a cath lab setting Strong knowledge of sterile technique and radiologic safety protocols Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
Typical Schedule:
Contract position; specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment and supplies Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angioplasties, stent placements, and right/left heart caths Monitor patient status throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to all regulatory standards Safeguard and prioritize radiation safety practices for staff and patients Assist with inventory management and maintenance of imaging equipment
