Because We Care II Inc is looking for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Assessor to join our dedicated team in Norfolk, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals by providing thorough clinical evaluations and connecting them with the care they need. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations for new and existing clients Determine appropriate levels of care and develop individualized treatment recommendations Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate client services and referrals Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Monitor client progress and reassess treatment needs as appropriate Ensure adherence to state, federal, and agency policies regarding behavioral health services Provide crisis intervention support and risk assessments when necessaryRequirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Experience conducting clinical assessments in a behavioral health or substance use setting Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to documentation accuracy Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a trauma-informed manner Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systemsAbout Us:
