Job Description

Do you believe great chiropractic care means real assessment, real rehab, and real outcomes? Do you want to be given enough time to work one-on-one with patients in a way that can actually help? Do you value mentorship, clinical growth, and a team that thinks the way you do? If you're nodding along, you might be the associate chiropractor we're looking for. Benefits W-2 employment with a clear growth path Competitive hourly and collections-based compensation Paid mentorship and weekly case review Continuing education support (scales with hours) Health insurance stipend (scales with hours) Malpractice and licensing coverage (scales with hours) Brief Overview of the Practice At MoveStrong Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, we're not a high-volume adjusting clinic and we're not a traditional PT practice. We're intentionally something different: a cash-based, one-on-one practice in Scotts Valley, CA, built on thorough movement assessment, evidence-based manual therapy, and progressive strength-based rehabilitation. Every patient gets a full hour with their doctor. No double-booking, no rushing, no cookie-cutter plans. We've been voted Best Chiropractic Office in the Press Banner three years running, and we're growing.
What drives us:
Root-cause care: we assess the whole body, not just the site of pain Patient independence over dependency: our job is to get people better and send them out stronger Clinical excellence over volume: outcomes and patient education always come first Team culture: we grow together through mentorship, case review, and shared standards
Integrity:
we run the business with honesty, generosity, and a genuine care for our team and community The Role As our Associate Chiropractor, you'll provide one-on-one care to patients, running comprehensive exams, communicating findings clearly, and building individualized treatment plans that combine chiropractic care, soft tissue work, and progressive rehab. You'll operate advanced clinical equipment (therapeutic laser) and participate in weekly mentorship and case review with an experienced clinician. This position starts part-time and grows in step with your caseload. How quickly you get to full-time is largely up to you, driven by patient demand and how well you build your schedule. We'll actively support that growth through paid marketing campaigns, a social media presence, referrals, and mentorship. What You Need to Be Successful To thrive in this role, you'll need a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, an active California chiropractic license (or eligibility to obtain one before start date), and CPR certification. We're looking for candidates with strong clinical reasoning, a movement and rehab-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for coaching patients through exercise. If you bring grit to hard cases, joy to the day, and curiosity to your growth, you could be our ideal team member. Background in strength and conditioning (CSCS or equivalent) and familiarity with clinical frameworks like DNS, PRI, FRS/Kinstretch, or similar rehab-focused systems is a strong plus, but not required. New graduates with the right mindset are welcome to apply. What You'll Get As an Associate Chiropractor at MoveStrong, you'll receive competitive compensation that grows with your caseload, a benefits package that expands as your hours increase (health stipend, malpractice, license fees, and CE allowance), and structured onboarding with paid mentorship built into your schedule. You'll work in a fully equipped clinic with modern software, front desk support, and marketing infrastructure already in place, so you can focus on what you do best: patient care. There's also potential for long-term growth within the practice, including possible profit-share eligibility once you're established in the role. The Next Step to Apply If this sounds like the right fit, apply through Indeed with your resume. We'll be in touch. For questions, reach out to Dr. Kyle Hardwick at movestrongchiro@gmail.com. Join us in building a practice where great clinicians do their best work, and patients get better because of it. Requirements Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Active California Chiropractic License (or eligible before start date) CPR Certified Strength & conditioning background (CSCS a plus) — optional
Pay:
$40.00 - $90.00 per hour
