Job Description

Chiropractic Assistant The Wellness Institute of Nashville is looking for an exceptional Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. For more than 20 years, we have helped people get back to doing the things they love. Our office combines chiropractic care with advanced technology and complementary therapies in a professional, energetic and genuinely caring environment. This is a hands on patient care position for someone who takes pride in doing their job well. A proven history of reliability and excellent attendance A stable and positive employment history A strong work ethic and personal accountability Good judgment and practical problem solving skills The ability to learn new technology and procedures quickly Excellent communication and people skills Strong attention to detail The ability to multitask in a busy environment The ability to work independently once properly trained Initiative and the ability to anticipate what needs to happen next Professional maturity and appropriate workplace boundaries A positive, outgoing and friendly personality An interest in health, wellness and helping others A professional appearance and demeanor What You Will Do As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will work directly with our patients, Dr. Kevin and the rest of our clinical team.
Responsibilities include:
Guiding patients through their treatment visits Preparing patients and treatment areas Assisting patients with therapeutic treatments Learning to operate our advanced therapeutic equipment and technology Providing patient education as directed by the doctor Maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the office Maintaining accurate patient records Assisting with digital X ray procedures as trained and permitted Tracking supplies and inventory Keeping clinical and treatment areas clean, organized and ready for patients Following established patient care and safety procedures Communicating effectively with the doctor and other team members Recognizing routine problems and taking appropriate action to keep the day running smoothly Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in chiropractic, healthcare, physical therapy, rehabilitation, medical assisting, patient care or another professional service environment is preferred. However, we care just as much about who you are as an employee as the title of your previous position. We are willing to train an intelligent, highly dependable person with a demonstrated history of professionalism and strong job performance. This is not an entry level position for someone still learning basic workplace expectations. Candidates should already understand the importance of punctuality, attendance, accountability, communication, following instructions and completing responsibilities without constant supervision. Thursday:
8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday:
7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Enjoy a 4.5 day workweek with a consistent schedule. Reliable and punctual attendance during scheduled hours is an essential part of this position. Compensation & Time Off $650 per week Vacation, sick and personal time are provided. Our office also closes for several days surrounding major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas. Employment Requirements Candidates must be able to successfully complete applicable pre employment requirements, including a state and federal background check and drug screening. We are looking for someone who wants stability and the opportunity to become a long term member of our team. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
