What Youll Do:

As a Blue intern, youll gain meaningful, hands-on experience by assisting our client service team help healthcare providers maximize reimbursement opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Youll be supported by mentors, receive real-time feedback, and collaborate with coworkers, leadership, and client business owners.

Position Details:

Assist with reconciling large volumes of nancial and operational data using standardized analytical tools.

Assist with reimbursement consulting projects, including: Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports and Wage Index.

Research reimbursement regulations and identify opportunities to improve client reimbursement outcomes.

Collaborate with professionals across Blue's Healthcare Consulting Practice on client engagements.

Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions while tracking action items and expanding your industry knowledge.

What Were Looking For:

Strong academic performance (Minimum GPA 3.2)Accounting, Finance or related major on track to meet the requirements for CPA examStrong technical skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PPT, Outlook and ExcelDemonstrated leadership and problem-solving skillsSuccess in working independently and as part of a teamAvailable to work overtime hours including evening/weekends and travel as necessaryExhibit strong communication skills - willingness to ask questions to gain knowledge of complex subjectsAuthorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
