Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach Active Recovery Network + The Recovery Collective Now hiring in San Diego Active Recovery Network is seeking a Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach to join our growing team and support clients through both Active Recovery Network and our new men's supportive-living program, The Recovery Collective. About Us Since 2012, Active Recovery Network has been San Diego's trusted provider of in-home therapeutic coaching and clinical case management. We support adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and major life transitions by bringing structure, accountability, and practical support directly into their everyday lives. The Recovery Collective, powered by Active Recovery Network and opening in November 2026, is a structured and supportive residence for adult men who need more guidance and accountability than traditional sober living provides—without returning to residential treatment. Residents receive individualized coaching, community integration, life-skills support, and coordinated care with their outside therapists, psychiatrists, and other providers. This is not a traditional office-based clinical role. Our work happens in clients' homes, communities, and real-life environments—where meaningful change actually occurs. The Role You will serve as a primary source of support, accountability, and momentum for clients and families across both programs.

Responsibilities may include:

Providing in-home and community-based therapeutic coaching Supporting residents at The Recovery Collective Conducting clinical case management and care coordination Helping clients develop practical life, relationship, and independent-living skills Supporting mental health stability, substance-use recovery, and healthy daily routines Helping clients identify goals and translate them into concrete action Coordinating with families, therapists, psychiatrists, treatment programs, and other providers Supporting clients as they build structure, purpose, community, and meaningful lives Maintaining clear documentation and consistent communication with the care team Participating in team meetings and case consultations You will work both independently and collaboratively. This role is ideal for someone who is self-directed, adaptable, accountable, and comfortable working in dynamic, nontraditional environments. Position Details Part-time to start, with the opportunity to build into a full caseload over several months Flexible schedule based on client and program needs In-person work throughout San Diego County Work may take place in clients' homes, in the community, and at The Recovery Collective Reliable transportation is required Full-time benefits are available at 30 hours per week Compensation $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience Qualifications Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field Minimum of five years of experience in mental health, substance use, behavioral health, case management, or a related field Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently Experience supporting clients with complex mental health, recovery, and life-transition needs Excellent communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to establish appropriate boundaries while building strong therapeutic relationships Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a high level of personal accountability Comfort working outside traditional clinical settings Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout San Diego County Why Join Us?
