Job Description

CORA Physical Therapy seeks a Digital Health Specialist to enhance technology-enabled care across our outpatient rehab clinics. In this role, you'll implement and optimize EMR, telehealth, remote monitoring, and patient engagement tools to support physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. You'll train and support clinicians, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and HIPAA compliance. Partner with therapists and clinic leaders to improve workflows, analyze outcomes, and drive digital solutions that help patients regain function, independence, and quality of life in a collaborative, patient-first environment. Responsibilities Implement and optimize digital health tools to support outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services Train clinical and front-desk staff on EMR, telehealth, remote monitoring, and patient engagement platforms Support clinicians with digital documentation workflows and data quality for evidence-based care Monitor system performance, troubleshoot user issues, and coordinate with IT/vendors for resolutions Analyze digital health utilization and outcomes data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy and security standards in all digital solutions Collaborate with therapists and clinic leaders to design and refine tech-enabled care pathways Develop user guides, tip sheets, and quick trainings to drive adoption and best practices Required Skills Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Telehealth platforms Remote patient monitoring tools Data analysis and reporting (Excel or BI tools) Health information privacy and HIPAA compliance Workflow mapping and process improvement Clinical documentation standards Healthcare IT troubleshooting and support Digital patient engagement tools and portals Training and user support for clinical staff
