•$28.00 per hour (dependent on experience and technical aptitude) About the Role Are you a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) looking to leverage your clinical knowledge outside of the traditional setting? Our medical technology startup is seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy Clinical Product Support Specialist . In this role, you will act as a primary face for customer service, providing unparalleled product support to customers and patients, troubleshooting technical inquiries, and helping shape the future of our product roadmap. This position offers some schedule flexibility, a modern startup environment, and a direct path into health-tech product management. Product Vision At InkWell Health, we believe in empowering patients to take charge of their healing journey while making it easier for clinicians to deliver the highest quality care. With our Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) tattoo, orthopedic surgeons can now track patient recovery in real-time, improving outcomes and clinic efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities Customer Support & Success:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clinicians, patients, or clients using our medical technology; troubleshoot device issues via email, phone, and video.
Clinical Product Advocacy:
Translate complex technical features into simple, universal language for non-technical users, ensuring high compliance and user satisfaction, with clinical case coverage and monthly follow-up.
Feedback Loop & Product Management:
Document, categorize, and synthesize user feedback, clinic inventory, new clinic onboarding, product and kit preparation, data review and feedback to Operations and R D.
Onboarding & Training:
Conduct live in-person onboarding sessions to new clinics ensuring a successful use and appreciation for the technology and give input on user-facing documentation (FAQs, video guides, quick-start manuals) to streamline the user experience.
Qualifications Education:
A MIchigan licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, with experience in an orthopedic or general medical setting, prefer a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in a clinical or technical field.
Tech Literacy:
Highly comfortable adopting and managing modern digital tools (e.g., CRM software, Excel, Helpdesk ticketing platforms, Slack, Zoom, multiple tech platforms and portals).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain empathetic, patient, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
Mindset:
A self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments and values autonomy and professional growth. Must be highly organized, confident, and a tech-enthusiast.
Pay:
$25.00
