Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Optical Lab Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our optical laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong optical knowledge and hands-on experience with surfacing, lens production, AR processes, lens ordering, troubleshooting and final inspection. We are looking for a dependable, proactive individual with strong leadership and problem-solving skills who can maintain an efficient workflow while ensuring accuracy and quality. Duties and Qualifications Strong optical and lens knowledge required Experience with surfacing and optical laboratory processes Knowledge of AR coating processes Perform final inspection and quality control on completed eyewear Troubleshoot and resolve precription, lens, production, and lab-related issues Knowledge of lens materials, designs, treatment, and proper lens ordering Accurately determine and order the appropiate lenses based on prescriptions and jobs requirements Maintain and organized lens inventory, monitor stock levels, and order lenses and supplies as needed Supervise and organized daily lab workflow to ensure jobs are completed and on time Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional assistance Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient laboratory enviroment Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills Previous optical laboratory experience is strongly preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, as our lab receives high volume of Spanish-speaking calls. Strong communication skills both languages would be a valuable asset
