PURPOSE Provide laboratory service for a 7-bed Rural Emergency Hospital, Hybrid ER/Urgent Care, in a timely and concise manner. SCOPE Collect and process samples and perform waived, moderately complex and highly complex laboratory testing in a timely and concise manner. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/JOB KNOWLEDGE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry with completion of a Medical Technology training program. Registry eligible. ASCP or NCA registration preferred. Ability to resolve complex problems independently. Provide clear and concise consultation to other laboratory personnel, hospital personnel, and physicians. Excellent oral and communication skills.

Testing (serological/micro testing, microsopics, etc.). Communication (shares important information with co-workers, supervisor, fellow employees, physicians). Overall Quality of Performance and Conduct.

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
