A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

- Perform and verify moderate complexity laboratory testing
- Conduct and document daily quality control procedures
- Perform calibrations and routine instrument maintenance
- Troubleshoot analyzer issues and escalate when appropriate
- Accurately document results in Orchard Harvest LIS and eClinicalWorks EMR
- Review and release patient results in accordance with laboratory policies
- Maintain compliance with CLIA regulations and COLA accreditation standards
- Communicate critical values promptly to providers Qualifications
- Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- Strong experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Immunoassay
- Knowledge of quality control and regulatory compliance standards
- Experience with Orchard Harvest LIS preferred
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred
- Phlebotomy skills a plus (not required
