A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Responsibilities Oversees Laboratory safety and education programs, providing employees with a safe and nurturing work environment, and ensuring compliance to organizational and accreditation agency standards. Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or a general or specialist Medical Technologist certification recognized by the state of Georgia. Five (5) years experience as a Medical Technologist. Five (5) years experience with laboratory computer systems.

PREFERRED

Demonstrated knowledge of multiple computer and software systems.

Work Hours:

7:30-4pm
