Schedule/Hours:
Travel contract position (full-time, with varying shifts as required by the facility)
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field Valid certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent preferred) State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia Recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting Proficiency with laboratory equipment and instrumentation Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to thrive within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide spectrum of laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids Analyze, interpret, and validate test results for clinical accuracy Maintain and calibrate sophisticated lab instrumentation Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality control procedures Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals Adhere to safety procedures and maintain meticulous records
