Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the independent performance of technical procedures, including emergency and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Participates in Quality Management processes as needed. Qualifies as a General Supervisor under CLIA, and may act as supervisor designate in the absence of the Section Manager or Section Supervisor. Demonstrates Leadership and Technical Expertise.
Qualifications:
A B.S. and successful completion of an accredited MT/MLS program. A B.S or A.A.in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science including a Laboratory training program or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS or HHS sanctioned reviewer, ASCP accreditation or equivalent. A B.S. or A.A.in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science degree that includes 60 semester hours of medical lab technology courses or other sciences as specified by CLIA. 5 years prior experience in a licensed Clinical laboratory preferred. ASCP Certification Required; Specialty Certification preferred Must possess skills in Core Lab (Chemistry, Hematology and Urinalysis. Full time night staff is required to cover Blood Bank); Microbiology; or Blood Bank appropriate to section assignment. Meet M.T. Tier requirements for MT/MLS III and successfully complete the application process.

USD $67.95/Hr.
