What they do
A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic is looking for a per diem Medical Technologist.Shift:
Dayshift weekends rotating holidayResponsibilities:
- Train and certify clinical staff on POCT devices
- Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission.
- Oversee instrument performance, troubleshooting and vendor relations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required
- ASCP certification preferred
- 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
