Day Shift Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic is looking for a per diem Medical Technologist.

Shift:

Dayshift weekends rotating holiday

Responsibilities:

• Train and certify clinical staff on POCT devices
• Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission.
• Oversee instrument performance, troubleshooting and vendor relations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required
• ASCP certification preferred
• 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience, POCT experience preferred Master's or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences or an appropriately related field (preferred) Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP With Bachelor's; MT (ASCP) certification or eligible. Certified as MT (HEW) Certified as MT (AMT)
