This position provides community-based vocational and behavioral health support to adults with serious mental illness (SMI), helping individuals achieve employment goals, maintain competitive employment, and increase independence. Required Qualifications Current Virginia QMHP registration required. Education and/or experience demonstrating expertise in vocational services. Experience working with adults with serious mental illness preferred. Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Key Responsibilities Assess employment interests, strengths, goals, skills, and barriers. Assist with job searches, applications, resumes, interviews, placement, and job coaching. Support individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment. Connect individuals with employers, vocational rehabilitation, workforce programs, and community resources. Provide vocational, rehabilitation, skill-building, and community-based ACT services. Participate in assessments, service planning, team meetings, and care coordination. Monitor progress and complete timely clinical documentation. Participate in crisis/on-call coverage as assigned. Maintain compliance with DBHDS, DMAS/Medicaid, HIPAA, human rights, and
ACT/TMACT
requirements. Additional Requirements Must be able to provide services in community settings, travel throughout the service area, work a flexible schedule, complete required training/background checks, and maintain Virginia QMHP registration.
