To ensure timely, accurate, and evidence informed resources to the community.
Job Description:
- Responsible for educating and empowering the community to make informed decisions regarding substance use prevention
- Create and implement educational programs focused on prevention topics
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and trainings for students, parents, educators, and community members
- Adapt programs based on the specific needs of schools, community groups, or target populations
- Provide evidence-based programs to schools and the community
- Support project coordination by tracking deadlines and deliverables
- Collaborate with team members and the community on education initiatives and events
- Prepare and organize materials for health promotion events in the community
- Respond to inquiries from community members and stakeholders with clarity and courtesy
- Assist in data entry and report generation as needed
- Contribute to team meetings by sharing updates and providing input on ongoing projects
- Occasionally attend training and professional development opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and its objectives
Required Skills:
- Must possess a friendly and engaging demeanor that enjoys meeting new people and forming new relationships
- A self-starter, able to work on a team and recognize the value of teamwork
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
