Your responsibilities will include:

Orthodontic bonding and bracket placement Routine orthodontic adjustments and wire changes Debonding, adhesive removal, and finishing procedures Complete orthodontic records Digital intraoral scanning Taking high-quality intraoral and extraoral photographs Taking panoramic and cephalometric digital radiographs Preparing teeth and assisting with bonding procedures Placing, changing, and removing archwires as permitted Rebonding loose or broken brackets Placing and removing ligatures, power chains, coil springs, separators, and other orthodontic auxiliaries as permitted Assisting with clear aligner treatment, including scans, attachments, delivery, and patient instructions Assisting with the placement, delivery, and adjustment of orthodontic appliances Delivering and adjusting retainers and providing retainer-care instructions Assisting the orthodontist during all phases of active orthodontic treatment Preparing patients and operatories for treatment Reviewing oral hygiene and providing braces, aligner, retainer, and appliance-care instructions Accurately documenting treatment, clinical notes, and patient progress Monitoring patient comfort and communicating clinical concerns to the orthodontist Maintaining sterilization and infection-control standards Keeping treatment areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for patients Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinical day Providing an upbeat, welcoming experience for patients and families Supporting your teammates and jumping in where needed

What We're Looking For Required:

Minimum 1 year of hands-on orthodontic assisting experience Experience with bonding, adjustments, debonding, orthodontic records, and digital scanning Comfortable working independently within the permitted scope of an orthodontic assistant Dependable and punctual Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, organized, and detail-oriented Able to keep pace in a busy orthodontic environment while maintaining excellent patient care Positive attitude and team mentality Private-practice orthodontic experience is preferred. We're happy to teach you how our practice operates, but this position is intended for someone who already has a solid orthodontic clinical foundation.
